Heather Lanius Malone joined the staff of the Concordia Economic & Industrial Development District in September 2008 where she serves as Executive Director.
Before joining CEIDD, Malone served as Director of Marketing & Membership for the Lowcountry Economic Network in Beaufort County, SC.
Malone is a native of Concordia Parish, Louisiana and relocated to the area after spending 4 years in South Carolina.
She is a 2004 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in general psychology.
Malone held positions in human resources and staffing prior to holding positions in economic development. She is a graduate of the Leadership Beaufort program and has volunteered with several worthwhile professional and civic organizations while residing in South Carolina including the South Carolina Economic Developers Association, Lowcountry Young Professionals and Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuse (CODA).
Malone currently serves on the Kasatchie Delta Board and Executive Committee as well as the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance (NELEA) Board.
Heather is married to Matt Malone of Mississippi. |
